THE BASICS
The Eagles had their highest finish at a conference championship since 2019  placing fourth at the 2025 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships on Saturday in Prairie View, Texas. Seven runners finished among the top-50 in the 8k race, with Matthew Dunsworth leading the way with a fifth-place finish. Dunsworth posted a time of 25:19.90 and was named All-Conference for his performance. Ruben Parra followed with a 26:33.15 for 27th place. Daniel Sanderson ran a 26:48.68 for 34th place. Peyton Jones had a time of 26:51.88 for 36th place and Kaleab Haileselassie was next at 37th place running a 26:52.44. At 41st, Jase McAbee ran a 27:06.67, and Omarion Shaw was 47th overall running a 27:25.96.
