THE BASICS
The Eagles had a historic run at the NCAA III Midwest Regional Championship on Saturday in Waverly, Iowa, finishing 15th overall, its highest finish ever at a Regional. Seven runners from Ozarks competed in the 8k race, with Daniel Sanderson pacing the Eagles with a time of 26:42.1 for 71st overall. Ruben Parra ran a 26:44.7 for 73rd. Matthew Dunsworth followed with a time of 26:46.5 for 78th. Kaleab Haileselassie was 80th overall with a time of 26:50.1. Peyton Jones was next running a 27:28.8 for 107th. Omarion Shaw was 126th with a time of 27:45.7 and Jimmy Mann ran a 27:56.8 for 131st overall.
