THE BASICS
St. Louis, Mo. – For the second time this season, the Eagles faced off against Webster University and came away with a 96-69 loss. It was the second game in as many days for the Eagles at the Webster Classic. The Gorloks jumped out to a 51-28 halftime lead and never really let the Eagles back into the game. The final seven minutes of the first half were rough for the Eagles as they were outscored 24-2. Webster shot an impressive 53 percent from the field, 50 percent from the three-point line and 94 percent from the free throw line in the game. Donavan Darthard came off the bench and scored 21 points. He hit 5-of-8 from the three-point line. Vanya Nikolic was named to the All-Tournament Team after his two performances at the Classic.

TURNING POINT
Webster outscored the Eagles 24-2 in the final seven minutes of the first half.

TIP-INS
