Irving, Texas - The Eagles earned a 3-1 victory over the University of Dallas in the final regular season match of the season.
The Eagles opened the first set strong with aggressive kills from Brooke Humphrey, Arianna Gomez, Claire Zeiler, and Corbin Emerson, leading to a 25-14 win. The Eagles kept control for the second set using consistent hitting and aggressive serving to control the ball and establish a confident offensive and defensive rhythm on the court. The Eagles would cruise to another 25-14 win.
In the third set, the Crusaders responded with kills to tie the set, 24-24. The Crusaders would eventually win 28-26.
However, the Eagles used strong serve pressure and kills to win 25-19.
The Eagles had a total of 46 kills with a 0.227 hit percentage, 12 service aces, and 60 digs.
Arianna Gomez had 16 kills and 10 digs. Brooke Humphrey delivered 18 kills and eight digs. Alyssa Carlisle had 15 assists. Samantha Barnes had three blocks.
