THE BASICS
Batesville, Ark. – Lyon College took a 70-53 win over the Eagles Wednesday afternoon in Batesville. Lyon held a 33-24 halftime lead as the Scots forced 12 turnovers. In the second half, the Eagles climbed within 38-33 on DJ Miller's layup at the 13:44 mark. But Lyon would answer each Eagle run and eventually hold a double-digit lead. Lyon took advantage of second half free throw opportunities going to the line 26 times and making 19. The Eagles struggled from the field hitting 29 percent and 53 percent from the free throw line. Dylan Archey finished with a team-high 14 points.

Lyon created 18 steals and converted 21 points off turnovers while also going to the free throw line 40 times. The Eagles would draw 15 free throw attempts.
