THE BASICS
Clarksville, Ark. – The Eagles scored 48 second half points and Elli Garcia had a career night scoring 19 points and grabbing ten rebounds in Tuesday night's 84-71 win over Lyon College. It is the second win over Lyon this season. Lyon owned a 18-13 lead after the first quarter before the Eagles outscored the visitors 23-15 in the second quarter to make it 36-33 at halftime. Lyon would score the first bucket of the third quarter, however, the Eagles went on a 17-2 run over the next four minutes to lead 53-38. Garcia would record a bucket and convert on a free throw to boost the Eagles and Lila Hartness would also hit a pair of three-pointers during that stretch. Garcia then scored six points in the final quarter to put the game out of reach. The Eagles hit a respectable 45 percent from the floor, with ten of those field goals from long range, in the game. The Eagles also held an impressive 55-33 rebound advantage. Abby Beene finished with a team-high 20 points while Kennedi Wight added 18. Lili Garcia dished out nine assists to go along with ten points. 

TURNING POINT
The second half swung in favor of the Eagles as the Seth McDowell up-tempo team went on a 17-2 run in the third quarter. 

TIP-INS
Elli Garcia had a breakout game scoring 19 points and grabbing ten rebounds. Garcia missed just one shot from the floor, going 7-of-8, in 25 minutes of action.
