Clarksville, Ark. - The University of the Ozarks women's basketball team has qualified for the post-season for the second straight season and will face Texas Lutheran University February 28 at 12:00 p.m. in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament Championships.

The tournament, which will be held in Irving, Texas, runs from February 28-March 2.

The Eagles (13-12, 7-9 SCAC) will go into the tournament as the No. 3 seed from the Blue Division, while Texas Lutheran University (20-4, 14-2 SCAC) is the No. 2 seed from the Gold Division. Only the top three teams in each division qualify for the tournament. 

"We are excited to head back to the conference tournament this season, and make our first appearance in the SCAC Championships," said head coach Shauna Watson. "Even though it is a first for us in the SCAC, making the playoffs back-to-back years is an incredible accomplishment, and great for our program. We have now had experience in those moments, and are ready for it." 
 
Texas Lutheran is receiving votes in the D3hoops.com national poll.
 
"Texas Lutheran has been a dominant team all season, but we are ready for the challenge. It will be an up tempo physical game, and should be exciting." 

Under the direction of Watson, the Eagles have posted the most wins since the 2018-19 season. Last season, Watson's Eagles pulled off one of the biggest post-season upsets in program history with a win over UT Dallas in the American Southwest Conference Tournament.
