THE BASICS
Clarksville, Ark. – The Eagles fought back to tie the game in the third quarter only to have McMurry University score eight straight points en route to a 65-52 win on Friday night. McMurry led 31-24 at halftime. The Eagles started the third quarter on a 9-2 run to even the contest at 33-33. But McMurry answered with a 8-0 run and eventually built a 45-37 lead going into the fourth quarter. McMurry then held a double digit lead for most of the fourth quarter. The Eagles had a rough night shooting the ball hitting 29 percent from the floor. The Eagles made 1-of-17 from the three-point line. Naomi Smith led the Eagles with 20 points.

TURNING POINT
