Game One Overview
Seguin, Texas  – Joseph Coon had a big three-run double late in the game and starting pitcher Jake Estrada produced another solid outing to push the Eagles past Texas Lutheran University 7-5 in game one on Friday. The Eagles produced two runs in the fourth to even the score 2-2, with Langdon Townsend and Britton Smith each posting RBI singles for the Eagles. In the sixth, Rene Garcia had an RBI double to give the Eagles a 3-2 advantage. The Eagles added another run in the seventh and Coon came up big with a double to drive in three runs in the eighth inning. Estrada went 7.2 innings to receive the win while striking out five. Darren Crane recorded the save after not allowing a hit and fanning two. The Eagles had 13 hits with Conner Reed, Ben Matos, Garcia and Smith all finishing with two hits apiece. 

Game Two Overview
Texas Lutheran University was able to slow down the Eagles offense as it wouldn't allow a run until the ninth inning in a 8-2 victory in game two. Meanwhile, the Bulldog offense was consistent producing runs in the second, fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth innings. Texas Lutheran starting pitcher Nolan McInvale struck out 11 Eagles over nine innings to shut down the offense. Coon would break the scoreless output with a two-run double in the ninth. Matos and Coon each went 2-for-4 at the plate.
