The Eagles opened the 2025 cross country running season with a seventh-place finish at the Memphis Twilight XC Classic in Tennessee on Saturday night. The Eagles faced four NCAA Division I teams. The first runner to cross the line for the Eagles was
Daniel Sanderson, who placed 34th overall with a time of 20:47.60.
Matthew Dunsworth placed 58th with a time of 21:37.91.
Kaleab Haileselassie ran a 22:10.52 for 70th place.
Jace McAbee was 81st with a time of 22:29.80.
Omarion Shaw was 84th overall with a time of 22:35.62.
Orville Mann was 97th with a time of 23:37.44 and
Troy Putman was 98th with a time of 23:43.79.
