Box Score Clarksville, Ark. – The Eagles were unable to hold a first set win as Freed-Hardeman University came back to win three straight sets to post a 3-1 win on Saturday.
 
The Eagles opened the match with a 25-21 win. The second set saw five ties and a pair of lead changes. Freed-Hardeman would climb away with four consecutive points to secure a 25-20 win. In the third set, Freed-Hardeman would score eight straight points to control the match and win 25-13. Freed-Hardment then won the fourth set at the same score, 25-13. 
     
Brooke Humphrey led the team with 11 kills. Lauralai Bradley had 14 digs while Alyssa Carlisle had 13 assists.

Humphrey and Lauralai Bradley made the Mustang Invitational All-Tournament Team.

The Eagles will travel to Arkadelphia to face the Henderson State JV team on September 9.
