Clarksville, Ark. - The women's swim and dive team finished the regular season 5-0 in dual meets as it defeated Hendrix College 182-90 on Senior Day Saturday.
Brianna Devlin set a new diving program record scoring 468.65 in the 1-meter 11-dive set.
Individual winners included Macy Weathers (100 fly and 50 fly), Riley Holcomb (100 breaststroke), Jessie Wright (500 free and 200 IM), Chloe Weathers (50 back and 100 back) as well as Devlin's 5-dive and 6-dive set. The Eagles also won the 200 medley relay swimming a 2:02.02.
In the 1,000 free, Isabel Shelton swam a 13:55.28 for second place. Journey Blackwell swam a 14:07.29 for third place and Gracie Morris swam a 14:41.62 for fifth place. Wright was second in the 200 free swimming a 2:05.35. Samantha Naramore followed with a 2:10.54. Macy Weathers was fourth with a 2:21.37. Chloe Weathers swam a 31.02 to win the 50 back. McKinley Mize placed third swimming a 33.03. Lillian Reid was sixth swimming a 38.62. Holcomb placed second in the 50 breaststroke swimming a 36.55. Aubrey Cantrell followed with a time of 41.77 and Emma Gilmore was fourth with a time of 42.29. Macy Weathers won the 100 fly swimming a 1:05.38. Naramore was next swimming a 1:06.67. Cecily Sanchez was third swimming a 1:08.53. In the 50 free, Mize was the team's top finisher placing second with a time of 28.12. Morris was fifth with a time of 31.43. Reid was sixth with a time of 32.44. In the 100 free, Shelton placed third with a time of 1:08.84. Naramore was fifth with a time of 1:09.85 and Gilmore was sixth with a time of 1:16.34. Chloe Weathers won the 100 back swimming a 1:06.64. Reid was second with a time of 1:27.23 and Alexa Montanez was third with a time of 1:39.23. Holcomb won the 100 breaststroke swimming a 1:21.59. Blackwell was second with a time of 1:28.96 and Cantrell was third with a time of 1:32.02. Wright won the 500 free swimming a 5:48.66. Naramore was second with a time of 5:50.96. Mize was third swimming a 6:19.48. Macy Weathers won the 50 fly swimming a 28.55. Sanchez swam a 29.68 for third place and Sara Niemann swam a 38.11 for fifth place. Wright also won the 200 IM swimming a 2:24.17. Sanchez posted a time of 2:29.17 for third place and Chloe Weathers swam a 2:31.72 for fourth place.
Devlin scored a 194.80 in the five-dive set and a 273.85 in the six-dive set to win each of her competitions.
The Eagles will now prepare for the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships held in Garland, Texas, February 11-14.
