THE BASICS
Shreveport, La. – The Eagles won their fifth straight game cruising past Centenary College 75-55 on Saturday in Louisiana setting their eyes on post-season play. The Eagles opened the game leading 15-7 after the first quarter and never looked back. Centenary couldn't make any substantial threats as the Eagles defense forced 23 turnovers while keeping the Ladies at a 35 percent shooting percentage for the game. It was a balanced offensive attack for the Eagles with four players reaching double figures with no one higher than 12 points.

TURNING POINT
The Eagles started the game with a 15-7 first quarter lead and never let Centenary back into the contest. 

TIP-INS
Courtney Thompson grabbed four defensive rebounds in 11 minutes of play. She also hit 3-of-4 free throws.

UP NEXT
The Eagles will wrap up the regular season at home against University of Dallas on February 20 and Austin College on February 21. The SCAC Championship Tournament will be held February 27-March 1 in Conway.
