Garland, Texas – The women's swim and dive team finished third overall at the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships.
Day four saw the Eagles compete in a number of events. In the 1650 free, Samantha Naramore was the team's top finisher at sixth place. She swam a 19:45.98. McKinley Mize (11th) swam a 21:40.47, Journey Blackwell (14th) swam a 22:52.27, Isabel Shelton (15th) swam a 22:58.98, Evelyn Morris (17th) swam a 24:08.44 and Aubrey Cantrell (18th) swam a 26:22.92. In the 200 back, Chloe Weathers placed sixth with a time of 2:20.75 and Mize finished 13th with a time of 2:27.38. In the 200 breaststroke, Riley Holcomb placed 12th swimming a 2:50.71. Blackwell followed with a time of 3:21.79 for 13th place. Emma Gilmore swam a 3:15.57 for 14th place. Cantrell swam a 3:19.98 for 15th place and Lillian Reid swam a 3:30.52 for 16th place. In the 200 fly, Samantha Naramore swam a 2:27.95 for sixth place. Macy Weathers swam a 2:33.34 for seventh place. Cecily Sanchez posted a time of 2:37.45 for 11th place and Shelton swam a 3:03.84 for 12th place. The Eagles placed fourth in the 400 free relay, posting a time of 3:50.30.
In 3-meter diving, Brianna Devlin placed second with a score of 336.0. Angelina Lotz was fourth with a score of 247.0

The SCAC Championships ends the season for the Eagles. NCAA III Regional Diving will take place February 27-28 in Atlanta. Devlin will represent the Eagles.
