THE BASICS
Clarksville, Ark.– The Eagles took care of business at home posting a 72-65 conference win over University of Dallas on Friday night. The Eagles shot 50 percent from the field in the first half and clamped down on defense holding Dallas to 23 points to lead 37-23 at halftime. Eyal Shamri was on fire hitting 3-of-4 from the three-point line and scoring 17 first half points. He ended the half making 7-of-11 from the floor. Dallas cut it to single digits in the second half, but the Eagles responded each time. The Eagles took care of the ball only committing seven turnovers. Shamri had an all-around game scoring 26 points, grabbing five rebounds, dishing out five assists and recording four steals.
