THE BASICS
Irving, Texas – The Eagles made a second half comeback but it was a little too late as University of Dallas posted a 80-67 win on Tuesday night. Dallas would hold a 45-22 lead at halftime even though the Eagles hit 5-of-10 from the three-point line. The Eagles fought back in the second half shooting 56 percent from the floor. The Eagles did out score the Crusaders 45-35 in the second half. The Eagles slowly dwindled the deficit down to 14 points and then later cut it to 71-61 with three minutes remaining. But that would be as close as the Eagles could get.
DJ Miller led the Eagles with 18 points off the bench.

University of Dallas jumped out to an early lead and went into halftime with a 45-22 advantage.
TIP-INS
DJ Miller had his second biggest three-point output of the season with three. He hit four back on January 22 against Austin College.
UP NEXT
The Eagles will host LeTourneau University February 6 and Centenary College February 7. Saturday's game against Centenary will be Senior Day for the Eagles.
