THE BASICS
Clarksville, Ark.– The Eagles smothering defense kept LeTourneau University off balance all night en route to a dominating 67-54 win Friday. The Eagles have now won two in a row and look for a third against Centenary College on Saturday. The Eagles limited LeTourneau to three points in the first quarter and 12 points in the first half. At halftime, the Eagles led 32-12, aided by a 62 percent shooting effort from the field in the second quarter. The Eagles led by over 20 points, and even 30 points on a couple of occasions, for most of the third quarter. LeTourneau shot 33 percent from the field in the game. Elli Garcia posted her second double-double of the season with 16 points and ten rebounds.

TURNING POINT
The Eagles' defense limited LeTourneau to three points in the first quarter. The Eagles slowed down LeTourneau in the second quarter, too, limiting the YellowJackets to nine points.

TIP-INS
Elli Garcia posted her second double-double of the season with 16 points and ten rebounds. Garcia shot 7-of-12 from the field and also contributed a block and steal.
