Clarksville, Ark. - The University of the Ozarks men's basketball program earned the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Team Academic award for the second year in a row and five players earned a spot on the Honors Court for the 2025-2026 season.
     
The NABC Team Academic Excellence Award recognizes programs that completed the 2025-26 academic year with a team GPA of 3.0 or higher. Under head coach Nate Williams, the Eagles posted a team 3.51 GPA. 
     
The NABC Honors Court, meanwhile, includes junior, senior and graduate student men's basketball players who finished the 2025-26 year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
     
The Honors Court included Dylan Archey, a junior finance major from Allen, Texas.; Dylan Ducharme, a senior finance and marketing major from Dripping Springs, Texas; Jagger Worley, a junior health science major from Carnegie, Okla; Luke Proctor, a senior business education technology major from Mountain Home, Ark.; and Tyce Gentry, a senior management major from Weatherford, Texas.
     
"College basketball student-athletes do incredible things on the court, but their achievements in the classroom are equally worthy of celebration," said NABC Executive Director Craig Robinson. "Education is one of the NABC's core values, and the hundreds of programs and thousands of athletes represented on these awards reinforce the commitment to academic success that exists across all levels of our sport."
