Clarksville, Ark. - The University of the Ozarks men's soccer team has been honored with the prestigious Team Academic Award from the United Soccer Coaches (USC), the organization announced recently.         
     
The USC Team Academic Award is presented to those teams with a 3.0 or better cumulative grade point average (GPA) for the 2025-2026 academic year. Under Head Coach Aaron Brueckner, the Eagles posted a 3.07 team GPA to receive the distinction. It marks the tenth time the men's soccer program has received the honor.  
     
Following the 2025 season, 14 players made the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Academic Honor Roll and another player made the College Sports Communicators Men's Soccer Academic All-District Team.
     
The USC annually recognizes programs for their exemplary performance in the classroom. The USC annually recognizes programs for their exemplary performance in the classroom. A total of 795 soccer teams (334 men, 461 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2025-26 academic year.
