Clarksville, Ark. - The University of the Ozarks women's soccer team dropped a 3-1 decision to East Texas Baptist University on Friday night.
Ozarks finished with six shots, including four shots on goal, while East Texas Baptist recorded 10 shots and seven shots on goal.
The Eagles got on the scoreboard with a goal from Genevieve Miller, who finished with two shots, both on target, and scored Ozarks' lone goal of the match.
Ozarks split goalkeeping duties between Bridgette Truesdale and Mica Garcia. Truesdale played the first 45 minutes and recorded one save, while Garcia played the second half and made three saves.
Ozarks also received shots from Addison Featherstone, Halle Hernandez, Alessandra Aguilar and Kira Gentry.
The Eagles will travel to Oklahoma to face Southwestern Christian University September 13.
