2025: Townsend, a native of Bellville, Texas, ranked fifth in the SCAC in home runs with seven and fifth in stolen bases with 17. Townsend finished the season hitting .327 with eight doubles and 24 RBI. He owned a .553 slugging percentage and recorded 49 hits, second most on the team. He had 13 multiple hit games, including a four-hit performance against Austin College. Against Hendrix, he recorded three hits with a homer and three RBI. He went 3-for-3 against St. Thomas.

2024: Named to the ASC Honorable Mention All-Conference Team. Posted a .457 slugging percentage behind five home runs and four doubles. Drove in 20 runs and finished with 24 hits and 43 total bases. Had four steals. Had seven two-hit games and drove in four runs against LeTourneau and three runs against McMurry.

2023: Started in two games and played in eight games. Named to the ASC Academic All-Conference team.

Bellville HS: Hit:320 with an on-base percentage of:450. Posted a fielding percentage of .958. Helped team with district title four straight seasons. Named Second Team All-District.
