Clarksville, Ark.-The University of the Ozarks men's wrestling team gave NAIA Bacone College all it wanted Wednesday night in a dual match and its first home match of the season.

Ozarks would tie Bacone 25-25 at the end of the match, but the Warriors won the event by virtue of a 1+ fall. Head Coach LeRoy Gardner's program is clearly headed in the right direction as Bacone defeated the Eagles last season handily. A large crowd for Ozarks fueled the team to five individual wins.

For Ozarks, Devon Jackson (125) defeated his opponent 8-1 (pin) and Sergio Nugent won 21-6 at 133. Mario Vasquez won 16-5 at 141 and Ny'Trell Dean recorded a pin for a victory at 157. Joey Schenck won on a major decision (14-3) at 174.

Ozarks will travel to Iowa for the University of Dubuque Duals December 17.
