THE BASICS
Alpine, Texas – Sul Ross State University hit 14 three-pointers and led the entire game taking a 83-61 win over the Eagles Thursday night. The Lobos led 37-29 at halftime and held a double-digit lead for most of the second half. As the Lobos hit 46 percent from the three-point line in the game, the Eagles had trouble getting back into the contest. Josh Ukpe and Justice Marmara had 11 points to lead the Eagles.
