THE BASICS
Abilene, Texas – McMurry University hit 55 percent from the three-point line en route to a 91-85 win over the Eagles Monday night. McMurry's CJ LeBlanc was on fire from long distance hitting 10-of-13 from the three-point line to pour in 34 points. McMurry led 45-35 at halftime, but the Eagles fought back to within 47-43 early in the second half behind seven quick points from Josh Ukpe. Justice Marmara nailed a three-pointer at the 13:42 mark to give the Eagles a 54-53 advantage. The Eagles kept it close the rest of the way but LeBlanc would single handily hit four from long range to keep the visitors from a win. Ukpe finished with 31 points on 12-of-19 shooting from the floor. He made four three-pointers. Marmara followed with 28 points and 11 rebounds.
