Clarksville, Ark. – The Eagles had another tough loss Saturday in non-conference play dropping their game against Sul Ross State University 62-59. The Eagles have lost their last four home games by an average of just five points. The Eagles held a narrow 28-27 halftime lead and the game went back-and-forth the entire second half. Sul Ross built a 52-43 lead with 8:27 left in the second half, but the Eagles made a run to close it to three points on a big three-pointer from
Justice Marmara.
Tim Eldridge would drill a three-pointer to pull the Eagles within 58-57 at the 2:52 mark. But the Eagles could never take the lead back.
Dylan Archey led the Eagles with 11 points behind a 2-of-6 effort from the three-point line.
