THE BASICS
Clarksville, Ark. – The Eagles battled UT Dallas to a 80-61 loss Wednesday night in conference play. The Comets led 41-31 at halftime, but the Eagles fought back in the second half. The Eagles came back from a double-digit deficit at the midway point and cut it to 59-53 on Josh Ukpe's three-pointer. But the Comets answered over the next two minutes and went ahead 67-53. From there, the Eagles couldn't get it back under double digits the remaining eight minutes. Ukpe led the Eagles with 21 points and ten rebounds.

TURNING POINT
After the Eagles trimmed the deficit to 59-53 at the 10:07 mark of the second half, the Comets scored eight straight points and never let the lead dip into single digits the rest of the way.

Josh Ukpe led the Eagles with 21 points and ten rebounds. Ukpe went 4-of-7 from the three-point line.
