THE BASICS
Belton, Texas – Josiah Johnson scored 34 points to lead University of Mary Hardin-Baylor to a 95-81 win over the Eagles Thursday night in Texas. The first half went back-and-forth with the Crusaders establishing a 42-35 halftime lead.
Tim Eldridge drilled a three-pointer with 1:49 remaining in the half to pull the Eagles within four points. The Crusaders would slowly build a double-digit lead in the second half that eventually would balloon to 22 points.
Justice Marmara led the Eagles with 19 points.

The Crusaders built up a double-digit lead in the second half and the Eagles had trouble playing catch-up.
