THE BASICS
Austin, Texas – The Eagles roared back from a halftime deficit to send the game into overtime only to have Concordia University Texas score 14 points in the extra period and drop the game 72-63. The Eagles would score just five points in overtime. The Eagles picked up the pace in the second quarter outscoring Concordia 14-9 after posting five points in the first quarter. The Eagles continued that momentum into the second half outscoring the Tornados in both the third and fourth quarter. But Concordia scored 14 points in overtime to seal the win. Amanda Turpin led the Eagles with 17 points. Naomi Smith posted a double-double with 13 points and 16 rebounds.
