Clarksville, Ark. – The Eagles shot 42 percent from the three-point line and forced 19 turnovers to hand the previously undefeated Lyon College Scots a 77-64 setback Tuesday night.

Abby Beene once again had huge performances combining for 50 points. Smith would go on to post her third double-double in a row with 14 rebounds. The Eagles controlled the game from the start and never let go of the lead. In fact, the Eagles started the game on a 16-1 run and built a 38-28 halftime advantage. The Eagles maintained a double digit lead in the third quarter, highlighted by a Beene three-pointer at the 5:56 mark to give the Eagles a 48-31 lead. Smith increased the Eagles advantage to 20 points with a shot with 5:10 remaining in the game. Overall, the Eagles shot 46 percent from the field in the game. Beene hit 6-of-10 from the three-point line to scored 22 points.
