THE BASICS
Clarksville, Ark. – The Eagles moved to 4-1 on the season with an impressive 78-62 win over Hendrix College behind a strong three-point shooting performance. The Eagles hit 14-of-26 (53%) from the three-point line in the game. Dalena Fisher hit 5-of-7 and Abby Beene drilled 4-of-8 from long range. The Eagles also won the rebounding effort, pulling down 40 while Hendrix recorded 29. The Eagles jumped out to a 35-27 halftime lead behind seven three-pointers. Hendrix made a couple of runs in the third quarter, one of which cut the deficit to five points. But the Eagles built the lead back as Beene poured in 11 fourth quarter points. The lead for the Eagles remained in double digits for the entire fourth quarter. Beene led the team with 22 points, while Fisher finished with 21. Naomi Smith scored 13 points and grabbed 14 rebounds.

The Eagles pulled away in the fourth quarter behind Abby Beene's 11 points and led by double digits the whole way.
