THE BASICS
Clarksville, Ark. – McMurry University scored ten points in the final three minutes to earn a 67-61 win over the Eagles. The score was tied 49-49 to begin the fourth quarter, but McMurry scored five straight points to gain an advantage. The fourth quarter then went back-and-forth and eventually the score was 59-59 with 2:27 remaining in the game. McMurry then went on a 8-2 run in the final 1:18 to secure the game. Amanda Turpin hit a jumper with 28 seconds left to pull the Eagles within 63-61. The Eagles would foul on the next possession and McMurry sank the attempts to go up four points. The Eagles missed a shot on their next possession and McMurry again went to the free throw line and made both attempts. Turpin led the Eagles with 19 points.

McMurry then went on a 8-2 run in the final 1:18 of the game to secure the win.
