THE BASICS
Clarksville, Ark. – The Eagles cruised to another conference win topping Southwestern University 73-59 on Sunday afternoon. The first half went back-and-forth with the Eagles holding a narrow 33-29 halftime lead. In the second half, Amari Leflore hit the opening shot for the Eagles from long-range and the Eagles built from there. Five minutes into the second half, Justice Marmara hit a jumper to increase the lead to 11 points. The Eagles then led the rest of the way by double digits. The Eagles' defense forced 24 turnovers in the game. James Mathews led the Eagles with 14 points.
