Colorado Springs, Colorado – The Eagles pulled out a thrilling 80-77 overtime win against Colorado College Sunday afternoon in Colorado Springs. Heading into overtime tied, 65-65, Justice Marmara would have a huge effort in the final minutes to secure the win for the Eagles. Marmara at one point scored seven straight points to extend the Eagles' lead to 77-68. Eric Gooden would hit a clutch free throw with seven seconds left to give the Eagles a three point advantage. The Eagles overcame a 36-32 halftime deficit as the Tigers scored a couple of late baskets in the first half to gain the lead. The Tigers hit a three-pointer to tie it, 65-65, with 13 seconds remaining to send game into overtime. James Mathews led the Eagles with 22 points.
