THE BASICS
Clarksville, Ark. – Lili Garcia and Abby Beene each had double-doubles in a 84-78 win against Rhodes College Sunday afternoon. Garcia scored 17 points and pulled down 10 rebounds while Beene had 15 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. The Eagles owned a 20-15 lead after the first quarter and led 39-38 at halftime. The Eagles never trailed in the third quarter, but the game was tied twice during that span. In the fourth, the Eagles took control and led by as many as 14 points behind an 8-0 spurt fueled by Elli Garcia and Beene. The Eagles would hit 11-of-27 (40%) from the three-point line. Lila Hartness added 15 points.

TURNING POINT
With a four-point lead heading into the fourth quarter, the Eagles went on a 8-0 spurt midway through the final quarter to pull away from Rhodes.
