Game One Overview
Clarksville, Ark.- The Eagles had a big day at the plate and starting pitcher Jake Estrada was dominant in a 14-4 win on Saturday. Estrada shined again as he started the game with three straight strikeouts looking. He followed that inning with two more strikeouts and a groundout in the second inning. The right-hander did exactly the same in the third inning and had seven K's through three innings. He fanned two more to start the fourth before Principia finally got a base runner. The Eagles offense produced six runs in the bottom of the fourth behind four hits. Phillip Drilling, Rene Garcia and Joseph Hardin all had RBI in the frame. Estrada retired the side in the top of the fifth and the Eagles provided more run support for the junior with two runs in the bottom of the fifth. Principia would manage to score three runs in the sixth, but the Eagles got two runs back in the bottom half of the frame. Drilling would hit a two-run homer in the seventh. Estrada finished with ten strikeouts over six innings of work to receive the win. Joseph Coon, Taber Childs and Drilling would all record two hits.

Game Two Overview
The Eagles moved to 4-1 on the season after a back-and-forth 13-10 win against Vermont State Castleton in the second game of the day. Vermont State Castleton would post five runs in the first inning. After a one-run first inning, the Eagles would add five runs in the second. The Eagles still led 11-8 after five complete innings. Vermont State Castleton would add another run in the top of the sixth, but Langdon Townsend homered in the bottom of the inning to put the Eagles in front 12-9. Jeter Fulbright would come in to receive the win after tossing two innings. The Eagles totaled 18 hits, with five players recording multiple-hit games. Conner Reed went a perfect 4-for-4 while Joseph Hardin and Townsend had three hits. Michael White had two hits and three RBI and Childs had two hits and two RBI.

The Eagles will host Principia College in a single nine-inning game beginning at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday.
