Game One Overview
Batesville, Ark. – With a combined 31 runs scored, the Eagles took a 18-13 win over Lyon College Tuesday afternoon in game one. Both teams put on an offensive show recording 18 hits each. At the end of two innings, the score was tied 4-4, but the Eagles produced five runs in the third to take the lead for good. Mason Bradley had a two-run double and Joseph Hardin had a two-run single to highlight the third frame. The Eagles added three more runs in the fifth to hold an 13-8 advantage. Conner Reed homered to drive in a pair of runs and Langdon Townsend had an RBI single in the fifth. The Eagles offense kept producing runs in the sixth as Hardin singled in two runs and Taber Childs had a bases clearing double. Six players had multiple-hit games, with Hardin, Childs and Townsend all recording three hits. Hardin was 3-for-6 with five RBI. Childs was 3-for-5 with four RBI and Townsend was 3-for-5 with one RBI. Rene Garcia scored three runs. On the mound, starter Landon Massey received the win after tossing two innings.

Game Two Overview
Lyon College used a 12-run second inning to take game two 18-4. The Scots would record 11 hits in the inning and the Eagles could never climb back into the game. Michael White doubled in a pair of runs in the first inning to give the Eagles a short-lived lead. Lyon responded with three runs in the bottom of the first before exploding in the second frame. Matteo Grassi went 2-for-2 and White had two RBI.

The Eagles will travel to Georgetown, Texas, for a three-games series against Southwestern University February 28-March 1.
