HOW IT HAPPENED
Marshall, Texas  – East Texas Baptist University broke open a scoreless first half by scoring four goals in the final 45 minutes of play Saturday to upend the Eagles 4-0 in non-conference play. Things changed early in the second half. East Texas Baptist University scored quick back-to-back goals in the opening minutes of the second half to seize momentum. The Tigers would score again in the 68th minute to make a comeback difficult for the Eagles. The Tigers would take 11 shots in the second half and a fourth goal would result in the 71st minute.
