THE BASICS
Austin, Texas – Concordia University Texas used 52 points off the bench to upend the Eagles 98-69 on Sunday in conference play. The Eagles had trouble getting any rhythm offensively as Concordia forced 25 turnovers. The Eagles held the lead early in the game and hung tough until Concordia reeled off a 23-11 run in the final five minutes to hold a 55-42 halftime advantage. The uptempo Tornados kept up the pressure in the second half and never really let the Eagles back into the game.
Eyal Shamri led the Eagles with 20 points.
