THE BASICS
Austin, Texas – Concordia University Texas had a big fourth quarter to post an 87-74 win over the Eagles on Sunday in conference play. Concordia went on a 13-3 run to close out the third quarter after the Eagles trailed just 52-50. From there, Concordia held a double-digit lead the entire fourth quarter. The Eagles outshot Concordia 48 percent to 44 percent from the field in the game. Abby Beene carried the Eagles with 20 points. Beene hit 4-of-6 from the three-point line. 

TURNING POINT
Concordia closed out the final 14 minutes outscoring the Eagles 35-24.

TIP-INS
Abby Beene hit four more three-pointers to bring her season total to 27. She now has 105 career three-point shots.
