THE BASICS
Kerrville, Texas – Schreiner University pulled away from the Eagles late in the game to gain a 98-82 conference win on Friday night in Texas. The Eagles outshot the Mountaineers (50% to 47%) in the game while both teams hit 40 percent from the three-point line. Schreiner led 54-46 at halftime, but the Eagles got within single digits in the second half.
Eyal Shamri scored on a layup and cut the deficit to 69-63 with 11 minutes to play. However, Schreiner would score 29 points in the final ten minutes to secure the game. The Eagles had a balanced offensive attack with three players scoring in double figures. Shamri led the Eagles with 18 points.

Schreiner would drill 15 three-pointers in the game and outscore the Eagles 29-19 in the final ten minutes of play.

Jagger Worley hit three three-pointers to score all nine of his points. Worley has hit 12 three's in the last six games.
