THE BASICS
Abilene, Texas – McMurry University overcame a 32-29 halftime deficit to escape with a 77-58 win on Sunday. The War Hawks would out score the Eagles 48-26 in the second half. Back-to-back layups by DJ Miller to finish out the first half gave the Eagles momentum heading into intermission. Early in the second half, Dylan Archey hit a three and then made another basket to put the Eagles in front 43-34. But McMurry turned things around at the 12-minute mark. In just two minutes, McMurry led 52-43 and then outscored the Eagles 25-13 in the final nine minutes. Archey scored 17 points to lead the Eagles.

Dylan Archey and Vanya Nikolic each hit three three-pointers in the game. The two have combined to hit 83 three-pointers this season.
