THE BASICS
Conway, Ark. – The Eagles had a huge day shooting the three to avenge a loss against Hendrix College on Friday night winning 83-61 on Sunday. The Eagles hit 15-of-29 (51%) from the three-point line with three players hitting at least three from long distance.
Vanya Nikolic led the way drilling 6-of-10 finishing with 21 points.
Dylan Archey hit 4-of-6 and scored 16 points while
Eyal Shamri hit 3-of-6 to score 23 points. Behind eight three-point shots, the Eagles led 46-24 at halftime. Nikolic's three less than three minutes into the second half gave the Eagles a 55-28 lead. Hendrix made a run to cut the deficit to 16 points, but the Eagles built a 20-plus advantage the rest of the way. For the game, the Eagles shot 50 percent from the field while holding a 43-30 rebound advantage.
TURNING POINT
Hendrix didn't have an answer defensively from the three-point line as the Eagles hit eight three's in the first half and seven more in the second half.
TIP-INS
The trio of
