THE BASICS
Seguin, Texas – The Eagles suffered a 85-61 road loss against Texas Lutheran University on Friday night. The Bulldogs opened the game with a 28-16 lead after one quarter and then scored 23 points in the second quarter to hold a 51-25 advantage at halftime. The Bulldogs maintained its offensive force in the second half leading by 20-plus points most of the way. The Bulldogs hit 49 percent from the field in the game while the Eagles hit 35 percent. Lili Garcia led the Eagle with 15 points hitting 6-of-7 from the floor.

TURNING POINT
The Eagles were held to nine points in the second quarter as Texas Lutheran built a 51-25 halftime lead. 

TIP-INS
Lili Garcia missed just one shot from the field against Texas Lutheran going 6-of-7 overall and 3-of-4 from the three-point line.
