THE BASICS
Longview, Texas – The Eagles took care of business on the road winning 78-58 against LeTourneau University on Friday night. The Eagles had a productive first quarter leading 12-9 and then followed with a 26-point outburst in the second quarter to end the first half leading 38-25. The Eagles shot 70 percent from the floor in the third quarter while holding a double-digit lead most of the way. The fourth quarter belonged all to the Eagles as the visitors picked up a key conference road win. The Eagles won the battle of the boards, 46-33, in the contest. Elli Garcia led the Eagles with 15 points while Kennedi Wight had ten points and ten rebounds. 

TURNING POINT
The Eagles exploded for 26 points in the second quarter to hold a 38-25 lead at halftime.

TIP-INS
Kennedi Wight posted a double-double with ten points and ten rebounds, her second of the season. Wight leads the team in rebounding per game (5.7).
