David Kuhn era with a split on Saturday against Webster University and Rhodes College in the Memphis area.
GAME ONE
Ozarks exploded for an eight-run first inning and never looked back, rolling to a 13–1 run-rule victory Saturday morning against Webster University.
Fast start decides it early
The offense wasted no time. Seven different hitters contributed during the opening frame as Ozarks sent a parade of batters to the plate:

Cowell was strong in her Ozarks debut. The only run allowed came in the 3rd inning, and Webster never threatened again.

GAME TWO
After an offensive outburst earlier in the day, Ozarks ran into a pitching duel and fell 4–0 to Rhodes College. Rhodes used timely hitting and a combined shutout to hand the Eagles a loss.
Pitching duel early
The game stayed scoreless through the first inning before Rhodes capitalized in the second when a stolen base and error brought home the first run. They added another in the third on an RBI single, then created separation with two extra-base hits in the fifth inning.
Ozarks scattered six hits but never broke through against the Lynx pitching staff.
