Game Overview
Clarksville, Ark.-The Eagles let a 9-5 lead slip away in the ninth inning as Hendrix College pulled out a 10-9 win Tuesday afternoon. After the Eagles scored three runs on a bases clearing double from Taber Childs, the Eagles headed into the ninth to secure the game. However, Hendrix battled to load the bases with one out. From there, the Warriors were hit by a pitch and then flew out. With two outs, the Warriors didn't give up as they drew another bases loaded walk to bring the score to 9-7. The Warriors delivered a bases clearing double of their own to move ahead. The Eagles built a 4-1 lead after two innings of play. In the sixth, Jackson Baker hit a two-run homer. The Eagles outhit the Warriors 15-8. Dru Didway, Brooks Boshers and Childs each went 3-for-5.
