Game Overview
Clarksville, Ark.  – Hendrix College built a big lead early in the game en route to a 14-3 win over the Eagles Wednesday night. Hendrix opened the game with plenty of offense, scoring five runs, which included a grand slam, in the first inning. And after three complete innings, Hendrix led 9-0. The Eagles recorded their first hit in the second inning. Rene Garcia got the Eagles on the board with an RBI single in the fourth. With two runners in scoring position and no outs, a wild pitch pushed across another run to make it 10-2 in the fourth. In the bottom of the fifth, the Eagles had two more runners in scoring position with one out and Ben Matos had an RBI on a ground out. Later in the game, the Eagles committed costly errors and the Warriors led 14-3 in the top of the seventh. Garcia had two hits to pace the Eagles.

The Eagles will host University of St. Thomas April 11-12. Senior Day will be Saturday prior to the game.
