Conway, Ark. - Hendrix used a pair of early multi-run innings to defeat Ozarks 7–3 Friday evening in Conway to open the conference season.
The Warriors broke through in the second inning, stringing together four RBI singles to grab a 4–0 lead. Hendrix continued the pressure in the third, adding three more runs to extend the advantage to 7–1.
Ozarks' first run came in the third when Connor Reed delivered an RBI single scoring Taber Childs. The Eagles threatened late and plated two runs in the ninth, capitalizing on a Hendrix error before Tyler Michlitsch added an RBI single, but the rally fell short.
