Clarksville, Ark.-The men's tennis team posted an impressive 8-1 win over Evangel University Thursday afternoon in chilly conditions.

At No 2 doubles, TJ Sanisenga and Scott Stewart defeated Sam Coryell and Jarrett Teel 8-6. At No. 3 doubles, Dallas Elmore and Aaron Gambrell defeated Jon Deroo and Jordan Letterman 8-1. In singles play, Hikaru Yamaya defeated Daryl Wong 6-2, 2-6, 10-1 at the No. 1 position. At No. 2, Aaron Gambrell defeated James Mcilwrath 6-2, 6-3. At No. 3, TJ Saniseng defeated Sam Coryell 6-2, 6-0. At No. 4. Nico Castells defeated Jarrett Teel 7-6, 6-1. At No. 5. Scott Stewart defeated Devin Stone 6-0, 6-1. At No. 6. Dallas Elmore defeated Luke Carpenter 6-2, 6-4.

The Eagles head to Texas for four matches – Trinity (March 21), Schreiner (March 22), Southwestern (March 23) and Texas Lutheran (March 24).
