Longview, Texas-The men's tennis team dropped a 9-0 match against LeTourneau University Friday in Longview, Texas.

The Eagles were swept in doubles play and then proceeded to drop all six singles matches.

The Eagles came back Saturday and defeated East Texas Baptist 6-3. The Eagles won a pair of doubles matches against East Texas Baptist. In No. 2 doubles, Aaron Gambrell and TJ Saniseng won 8-6. At No. 3 doubles, Joshua Wilde and Griffin Huckelbury won 8-7. In No. 2 singles, Aaron Gambrell won 7-5, 6-1. Joshua Wilde won at No. 3 singles, 3-6, 6-4, 6-3. At No. 4 singles, Jan Puvill Fuertes defeated his opponent 6-4, 2-6, 6-1. At No. 6 singles, Nico Castells won 3-6, 6-2, 10-7.

The Eagles will host Texas Dallas April 12.
